Pine Portage Lodges on Kaby Lake, Ontario
We are now rapping up our 63rd year of business and going into our 64th year with a positive attatude. Even though business was down this year, we wish to thank those of you that where able to make your annual trip and for those that where unable to join us this year we hope to see you in 2010.
We had another great summer of fishing, there where alot of nice fish both Walleye and Pike caught this summer. Most of those Big Fish caught where also released which is proof that the Conservation Policy does work. Our guests are more inclined to purchase the Conservation License and catch and release rather than keep their limits to take home. It is actually "THANKS" to our many guests for practising catch and release on Kaby Lake that will keep this a GREAT FISHING LAKE FOR MANY YEARS TO COME.
"Serving Those Who Love The Great Outdoors" has been one of our logo lines used on many of our advertising pieces over the years, and it has been the philosophy by which we have operated these many years. To further enhance this philosophy into the future, we must begin to develop ways for more of you to experience and enjoy what "Mother Nature" has to offer us on beautiful Kabinakagami Lake aside from the hunting and fishing. We need to hear from you regarding what you like to see or do to make your vacation more enjoyable. Do we need to develop hiking trails for walking and enjoying flora & fauna to be found in the area? Do you want water sports equipment? Tell us what you would like to see us improve upon. With the ever changing demographics, we have been able to accommodate many of the needs of those who have physical or age related disabilities to ensure you can still go fishing. If you have some problems that you feel will prevent you from coming please call us, and we will work with you to make your trip one to remember.
